Revoke CR/NC Grading Option

If you selected the credit/no-credit grading option for your Spring 2020 classes and have changed your mind, you can revoke the credit/no-credit option until this Friday, April 17. For each class you revoke the credit/no-credit option, you will receive a traditional letter grade.

Meet Your Online Instructor: Dr. Tom Quinn

Dr. Tom Quinn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology. Fluent in both English and Portuguese, Tom was a finalist for the 2019-2020 College of Social and Behavioral Science Superior Teaching Award, which recognized the enthusiasm and skills he brought into the classroom. Beyond his background in face-to-face courses, though, Tom is also experienced in online instruction. His current online portfolio includes SOC 3112 (Social Statistics), SOC 3051 (Digital Society), and SOC 3650 (Population and Society), and he’ll be adding SOC 3111 (Research Methods) and SOC 3569 (Terrorism, Violence and Aggression) to that list this summer and fall, respectively. Also, he recently wrapped up a redesign of the online version of SOC 2015 (Introduction to Quantitative Analysis), which will go live this fall.
