All TRSL reporting agencies must authorize employer personnel who will report, correct, and certify employee data by paper forms or through the Employer/Membership Information Site (EMIS).
Agencies must also designate personnel who will serve as TRSL information contacts.
TIP: Review the Employer Contacts screen (available under the Employers menu in EMIS) for your agency to view current contacts and access rights to determine if any changes are needed due to staff turnover or changes in job duties.
Do you know what to do if an authorized signer resigns (or is terminated) unexpectedly? 
  • To remove an employee's access to EMIS as quickly as possible, you should send an email to your assigned liaison immediately.
  • Once you fill the position, you can submit a new Authorized Contacts (Form 1) and Employer Directory Contacts (Form 1EDC).
Employers should review Index 1.0 for instructions and information on how to establish access and authorization for designated personnel, as well as details on the specific TRSL forms needed.
