Final Steps for Priority Registration |
Priority registration begins in Experience on April 13.
We know that registering in a new system for the first time can come with some bumps, including a learning curve and potential technical issues. We’re here to support you every step of the way and are committed to helping you have a successful registration.
Take a few minutes now to review your information and prepare, so you’re ready when registration begins.
|
|
|
Step 1: Check Your Holds + Watch for Your Registration and Financial Agreement and Time Ticket |
|
|
| - Log in to Experience
-
Next, to review your Holds, select the Student Self-Service card
If you don’t see this card, select View All Cards and bookmark it- Select Student Profile
- Select the right term in the Term dropdown (top left)
-
Select Registration Notices (top right)
- Watch for a notification regarding the Registration and Financial Agreement
-
Select the Notification > Select View Task
- Review the agreement
- Check Yes that you agree and select Submit
- You will also be required to select your Campus Location (Main = Oxford) and select Submit again
|
|
|
If you have any holds, address them as soon as possible by contacting the office that placed them.
Example: Accounts Receivable Hold → Contact the Office of the Bursar
🔔 Tip! You can also check for holds in Registration Self-Service → Prepare for Registration, but this view provides less detail.

⚠️ About Time Tickets (Formerly Registration Windows) |
We know you are eager to view your assigned registration time, called your Time Ticket.
You may see a time ticket as we finalize assignments, but know it is not official until we make a formal announcement. We are actively working to assign time tickets to all students. We expect them to be available soon and will notify you via a follow-up email when your official time ticket is ready to view in Experience.
Thank you for your patience. In the meantime, here's an overview of registration groups by day:
|
- Monday, April 13 – Priority registration students
- Tuesday, April 14 – Priority students, graduate students, pharmacy (third & fourth year)
- Wednesday, April 15 – Pharmacy, Provost Scholars, unclassified students, seniors
-
Thursday, April 16 – Juniors, sophomores
- Friday, April 17 – Freshmen
|
Note: Within each group, your registration time is based on total hours (including transfer, earned, and current hours).
|
|
|
Step 2: Build Your Plan (Replacing Favorites) | |
|
| Go to the Registration Self-Service card
If you don’t see this card, select View All Cards and bookmark it
|
-
Browse Classes
Registration Self-Service → Browse Classes
Search for courses and review available sections - Plan Ahead
Registration Self-Service → Plan Ahead
Save courses and build up to three (3) draft schedules, so you can register faster when your time ticket opens
|
|
|
🔔 Tip! When using Plan Ahead, the search pulls from the full course catalog, which may include courses not offered this term.
To find courses faster, start in Browse Classes to filter by term and confirm what’s available, then add those courses directly to Plan Ahead.
|
|
|
Step 3: Register When Your Time Ticket Begins! |
|
|
| - Be sure you have acknowledged the Registration and Financial Agreement (in Step 1)
- Next, go to Registration Self-Service → Register for Classes
- Select your Term (Fall Semester or Winter Intersession)
- Enter your Registration PIN (Alternate PIN field)
- You will receive separate PINs for fall and winter, so be sure to use the right PIN that mirrors the term you selected when registering
- Browse and Add courses
-
If you used Plan Ahead, go to the Plans tab and select Add All
- Select Submit to complete your registration
|
|
|
Meet with Your Advisor & Get Your Registration PIN
If you haven’t already, meet with your advisor to discuss your course schedule. You’ll need a six-digit PIN before you can register for both the fall and winter terms. The PINs for fall and winter will be different. Be sure to check your email and save your PINs.
Requesting Overrides (If Needed)
If a course requires special permission, contact the Dean’s Office that offers the course. Once approved, you will still need to register yourself.
Course Numbers and Prefixes Are Changing
Courses now follow a new format. This Course Crosswalk will help students and advisors map previous courses to the new structure.
Navigating Waitlisting
Once a course is full, waitlists will now act as a queue for open seats and do not guarantee enrollment. If a seat becomes available, you’ll be notified by email and must register within a limited time.
Conditional Add/Drop
Swap courses without losing your current seat unless the new course is successfully added. If the swap doesn’t go through, your schedule stays the same.
