From Jan. 13–17, 2025, Puget Sound will host its annual Professional Development & Enrichment Conference, a tradition that brings faculty and staff together for a week of growth and learning.
Developed to offer faculty and staff members the chance to connect, learn, and be inspired, this year’s conference is packed with events designed to support Goal III of the Leadership for a Changing World strategic plan.
Also back this January is the Day of Learning. Megan Gerhardt, professor of management and leadership at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, will deliver a keynote address, "Fostering Belonging on Intergenerational Teams," on Jan. 15 from 9–10:30 a.m. in Upper Marshall Hall. Logger swimmer Jaden Francis ’25 was in Budapest last week to represent Guam in the 2024 Swimming World Championships. Francis previously swam for Guam in the 2023 Pacific Games.
"As long as I give 100% effort and execute my job to the best of my ability, I'll be happy with my performance," Francis said.
