A Festive Spring

The end of the academic year is a time for celebrations: EarthFest, Spring Fling, the All-Campus Barbecue, a final picnic for Log Lunches, the Big Art Show and many senior recitals and presentations. During Staff Appreciation Day, 131 staff members were honored for reaching milestones, with 26 celebrating their retirement.

Featured Speakers

The Center for Development Economics recently hosted a conference in honor of Jerry Caprio ’72, the William Brough Professor of Economics, Emeritus. Videos of conference speakers Maria Soledad Martinez Peria (International Monetary Fund) and Patrick Honohan (Peterson Institute for International Economics) are on Williams’ YouTube channel. And in a final event for the Cohan Family Forum Series on Mental Health and Trauma, Heavy author Kiese Laymon presented “My Head Is Part of My Body.” The video is available through May.
