Note from the Dean
Summer is a great time to catch up on some reading. I have three books in my beach bag right now, all from authors who visited Owen this spring: The Art of Diplomacy by MBA alumni Bruce and Vicki Heyman (watch my interview with Bruce to hear about his experience as the U.S. Ambassador to Canada); investor Roger McNamee’s Zucked, which explores the dark side of social media (see my video interview about the book where Roger paints a frightening picture of social media); and Stanford’s Dave Evans’ book Designing Your Life. Dave spoke in Professor John Lehman’s course this spring about applying design thinking to build a life of thriving. Enjoy reading, and happy summer!

Best,
Eric
