Another academic year is in the books!
To our 2025 graduates, hearty congratulations! Thanks for joining and enriching our American Studies community—and for entrusting us with a vital part of your education! To the faculty, thanks for all you do year in and year out to make the department sing: your teaching and advising and mentoring and publishing and more. Thanks to our fabulous alumni for staying in touch with and supporting the department, sometimes many years since last stepping foot in our well-worn G Street townhouse. Finally, many thanks to all-star Andy Johnson, our Senior Academic Administrator, who makes the department go.
