A Guide and Champion

As a program manager for experiential learning, Nicole Kendrick helps students discover who they are now and where they want to go from here. She guides students through their internships every semester through the Internship Seminar (EXLN 350) and during the summer through the Summer Fellowship Internship program. She is also involved in providing Puget Sound students grant-funded opportunities for internships through the Puget Sound Internship Grant and teaches EXLN 201 and EXLN 301, two courses that are part of experiential learning's career development sequence. “I coach and cheer for students as they take their next best steps on their career development journeys,” she says, “and encourage them to reflect on the learning process along the way.” Learn about internships and experiential learning opportunities.

Archivist Jane Connelly and Puget Sound Archives & Special Collections hosted an event on Valentine's Day featuring books and ephemera from Puget Sound's special collections, including dance cards, love letters, zines, an 18th-century marriage certificate, and one oversized valentine that one Logger received from her mom in the late 1960s.
