The Life Science TN Foundation’s Life Science Venture Program is accepting applications from life science and biotech startups looking to commercialize, connect with capital sources, and grow their technologies.

LSVP offers a flexible, customized approach to startup development, with three core components: expert mentorship, monthly educational programming, and investment readiness. As an LSVP participant, you’ll have access to a dedicated team of mentors, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR), and curated educational programming designed to support your company’s unique needs. Throughout the program, your mentor team and EIR will help you navigate funding opportunities, refine your pitch, and position your company for investment.

Participating companies will also have access to networking and professional development opportunities through LST, including potential opportunities to present their businesses to investors and the broader ecosystem at events like LST’s Investor Day and LSTCON’s Life Science Venture Forum.

The University of Tennessee - Knoxville (UTK) has opened Tennessee’s first Patent and Trademark Resource Center, giving inventors, researchers and entrepreneurs across the state free access to intellectual property search tools, workshops, and one-on-one guidance. The center is housed on the first floor of Hodges Library inside UT’s Office of Entrepreneurship and New Ventures.
