Help Build a Mural at SBU!
As described in a message from Vice President for Equity & Inclusion/Chief Diversity Officer Judi Brown Clarke last week, SBU is seeking YOUR help to build a new mural! As she stated, Stony Brook is constantly looking for ways to create a welcoming environment for people from a growing array of backgrounds, cultures, identities and experiences. Help us embrace our unique culture. Tell us what words we should weave into the mural design by submitting your ideas by March 1.
This first large-scale piece – encompassing themes supporting the LGBTQ+ community – was commissioned by the Stony Brook Campus Beautification Committee from an SBU student.
