Event Overview
The Shabbat Shalom–Together Again weekend program will kick off at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 17, and will conclude by noon on Sunday, June 19.
Plan to arrive by 1 p.m. on Friday if you sign up for choir or would like to participate in informal “schmooze sessions.”
There is also an option to arrive on Thursday – to get a head start on seeing everyone and to join in an optional “pay your own way” dinner at a local restaurant.
Activities. We have a full schedule of events, including Shabbat services, Torah study, and workshops. Here are some of the offerings:
- Creative Shabbat services
- Torah study through Mussar traits
- Shabbat afternoon workshop with Elana Arian
- Grassroots Social Action and Advocacy
- De-stress with the YES Fund
- Israeli music and belly dancing
- Games (bring your cards, mah jongg sets, etc.)
- Opportunities to share successes, challenges, and best practices
- Time sharing "joys and oys" or just schmoozing

Social Action. As is our custom at Northeast District weekends, we will have a social action project. We will ask participants to bring a variety of items for collection, to benefit an Albany area organization. The list of items to be collected is in formation and will be sent to registrants in advance of the weekend.
