» Music City Update: Donations and assistance for those impacted by the devastating tornadoes in the greater Nashville area last week (CAT 3/3) continue.

  • ACM Lifting Lives, via the Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund, has earmarked $100,000 to respond directly to individuals who have been impacted by the tornadoes. The fund provides for unforeseen, immediate financial, medical and personal needs of members or organizations of the music community facing unexpected hardships.   • Last night's (3/9) To Nashville, With Love charity concert featuring Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, Brothers Osborne, Dan Auerbach, Jason Isbell, Old Crow Medicine Show, Margo Price, Sheryl Crow, Soccer Mommy and Yola raised an estimated $500,000 for relief efforts.
Previously announced efforts (CAT 3/4, 3/5, 3/6, 3/9) are supplemented for industry professionals by a myriad of support opportunities, as previously detailed in Country Aircheck Weekly. Look for continuing coverage of relief, cleanup and rebuilding efforts in Country Aircheck in the coming days and weeks.

» Zac Brown Band Postpones Tour: ZB Collective/BMG/Wheelhouse's Zac Brown Band have postponed the spring 2020 leg of The Owl Tour "out of caution and due to increasing public health concerns," according to a post made on the band's Facebook page today (3/10). Rescheduled dates will be announced soon, and tickets will be honored on the new dates. Summer 2020 tour dates – starting May 24 in Gilford, NH – will not be affected.

WWBR afternoon personality and "minister extraordinaire" Ray Prosser will officiate the on-air nuptials, which will also be streamed here and via Facebook Live here.
