MSF employment outcomes, Q&A with Asia Alumni Board Chair, and more
Note from the Dean
Last week, we welcomed the students back to campus for in-person classes. In the COVID age, that means arrival testing for everyone. Spring semester is a busy one, with internship recruiting kicking into high gear. We are also looking forward to several speakers and events, including the 6th Annual Turner Family Center for Social Ventures Summit in February (details below) and the Vanderbilt Entrepreneurship Conference on March 26. With virtual delivery, it is easier than ever for alumni to participate. So watch the upcoming newsletters and our social media feed for details on speakers or events you might enjoy.

Best,
Eric

The New Owen Volunteer Community

At Owen, we’re known for world-class education with personal scale — and that extends to your experience as alumni as well. We’re thrilled to introduce the new Owen Volunteer Community, which replaces the former Owen Alumni Council. The Owen Volunteer Community is an opportunity to stay in touch with your classmates while serving Owen in one of 2 new volunteer roles: Class Agent and Class Secretary.

Class Agents are charged with serving as a liaison to his or her classmates with the primary purpose of increasing philanthropic support, and Class Secretaries are charged with driving engagement with his or her classmates, specifically by soliciting classmates for Class Notes entries in Vanderbilt Business magazine twice per year. Additionally, both roles will be key members of the Reunion Committee by encouraging both attendance and philanthropic support. The anticipated time commitment is only a few hours per year, and our team here at Owen will provide training and ongoing support.

Interested in becoming part of the Owen Volunteer Community as either a Class Agent or Class Secretary? Contact MK Rosack, Senior Director, Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, at mary.k.rosack@Vanderbilt.Edu.
