Demystifying Grant Writing: Strategizing & Preparing Your Project Proposal
Oct. 6th, 2:30 - 4:00 pm (Virtual)
Registration is required; space is limited. Register here!
Led by Christina D. Bartson, Steinhardt Writing Center
This workshop will focus on the fundamentals of developing, strategizing, and preparing a grant proposal for a project in the arts, humanities, or social sciences. It will introduce students (with little or no experience with grants) to the process of creating a proposal based on individual projects across a range of disciplines. By understanding the reasoning and rationale behind specific suggestions, participants can take that learning and adapt it for many different scholarly and/or creative endeavors beyond graduation. Students are encouraged to come with ideas for projects for which they’d like to find funding.
The Steinhardt Writing Center provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. Requests for accommodations for events and services should be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the accommodation needed. Please email Kari Hensley at
