Three UT Arlington online master’s programs were named among the top 25 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report . The University's online Master of Education is No. 23 overall and No. 10 for veterans in the new rankings, while the online master's program in nursing is No. 19 for veterans. “The rankings highlight our faculty’s dedication to meeting the needs of our on-campus and online students and giving them the preparation to be outstanding educators and leaders,” said Tim Jacobbe, newly appointed dean of the College of Education.  

Ambra Green and John Romig from the College of Education received a five-year, $1.25 million federal grant to equip future teachers with the expertise to support students who have disabilities and high-intensity needs.

A researcher at UTA has created a novel learning-based framework that will help Alzheimer’s patients accurately pinpoint where they are within the disease-development spectrum. This will allow them to best predict the timing of the later stages, making it easier to plan for future care as the disease advances.
