Tennessee NICUs Join Together to Improve Care for the Tiniest Babies

Celebrating our Chronic Lung Disease (CLD) Project Teams! Congratulations to all! All hospitals were able to maintain or decrease Grade 3 CLD. Participating hospitals also reported no death due to CLD during the project. With 672 infants across the state in this project, this is the equivalent of 17 premature babies who survived that would not have the previous year. Read the Impact Statement

Be a Part of the CMQCC Obstetric Sepsis QI Sprint

Join a four-month quality improvement sprint on enhancing maternal sepsis care, using the 2025 CMQCC Improving Diagnosis and Treatment of Obstetric Sepsis Toolkit. The sprint includes three working sessions and a closing review, emphasizing practical implementation steps such as EHR-based screening, antibiotic management, and systems-level case review.

Teams will gain access to webinars, expert consultation, and peer networking—all at no cost thanks to NICHD funding. Sessions will be held on January 20, followed by February 17, March 17, and April 21, 2026 at Noon PST. Registration closes January 9, 2026. Complete the pre-evaluation survey to apply.
