| Harrington Lane Pork Sale!I visited Krista at Harrington Lane Farm on Sunday afternoon! We visited animals and bought pork chops for dinner! Krista has one problem, her freezers are full at the moment. I told her that you could help her with that problem. So now we have a SALE on Ground Pork, Pork Roasts, Pork Chops and Bulk Pork Boxes! Here are a few more items of note: - We have Salad Greens available! Arugula and Asian Mix are available from Bowman's Organic Produce
- Add fresh organic herbs to your meals! Brenda Knechtel has grown Parsley, Cilantro and Basil Plants for us! Try the Lemon Basil on pasta, fresh cheese or grilled fish!
- Monforte Dairy has sheep milk flowing! This week they have lots of fresh cheese including:
- Halloumi - A whey poached sheep cheese that can be fried in a bit of oil and will go crispy and brown.
- Belle: Cream cheese from sheep's milk, can replace chèvre wonderfully. We have it in flavoured variations like the Blossom and Sheep Dip
- Pecorino Fresco: Fresh mozzarella, tangy, can be cut or torn.
- Yogurt: Thick sheep's milk yogurt, 2 month shelf life
- The cow cheddar is by far one of the best cheddars Monforte has ever made!!
- Make meal planning easy with Taco shells, chips, sauces and more from Taco Farm and McKechnie!
- Don't forget Floralane tomatoes - Beefsteak and Grape Tomatoes now available!
- Stevanus Farm has prepared Sauerkraut from their cabbages! It's fermented and full of probiotic goodness!
- Brenda Knechtel has some spinach growing in her greenhouse. There is a very limited amount available.
- New Moon Kitchen delivered a fresh batch of cookies! We have lots of Momints (which always seem to disappear first) as well as the GF Chocolate Chip Cookies which my kids love! You'd never guess these cookies are vegan (no dairy or eggs!) as they are super yummy.
Don't forget to order what you need for Easter celebrations:
