Nannette Enloe: A Remembrance |
Nannette Enloe (1932–2025) was a cherished friend of Tremont whose connection to Walker Valley spanned more than seven decades. From serving as a Girl Scout counselor at Camp Margaret Townsend in 1949, to earning her Southern Appalachian Naturalist Certification in 2013, to attending Naturalist Week adult summer camp in her 90s, Nannette left a lasting mark on our community, reminding us that wonder does not fade with age. Learn more about Nannette’s lasting connection to Tremont.

River Critters Puppet-Making Workshop with Cattywampus |
You're invited to help us represent the Smokies at the Cattywampus Parade and Block Party: Where the Waters Meet in Knoxville on May 17. To prepare, Tremont is hosting a macroinvertebrate-themed puppet-making workshop in the national park on March 15. The workshop is free to attend, but registration is required; sign up now!

Anyone is welcome to join Tremont’s parade group on May 17, whether or not you attend the workshop. Parade participation is encouraged but not required.
