Welcome Class of 2028! Orientation Week was jam-packed with activities, words of advice from university leaders, team-building games and activities, a city walk and scavenger hunt, and the annual Qilin Fest.

NYU Shanghai introduced the parents of the Class of 2028 to the NYU Shanghai community through a New Parents Panel. The parent panel helped attendees better understand how to access NYU Shanghai’s extensive resources and services.

20 New Faculty Members Join NYU Shanghai

This fall semester, NYU Shanghai welcomed 20 new faculty members from nine countries and regions. With expertise spanning 11 disciplines, this cohort of educators and researchers bring diverse perspectives and reflect NYU Shanghai’s commitment to fostering a multidisciplinary academic environment that cultivates globally-minded graduates.

NYU Shanghai Hosts a Dialogue with Artist Xu Bing

On October 21, NYU Shanghai was honored to host renowned Chinese artist Xu Bing for an insightful dialogue. Nearly 600 faculty, students, and art enthusiasts attended the public event at NYU Shanghai campus to hear Xu share his unique artistic vision and thoughts on the relationship between art and AI.

NYU Shanghai offers students a truly unique university experience. Universities serve as a bridge between school and society, and unlike local universities, NYU Shanghai provides students with ample freedom. Students can choose their preferred majors, explore various hobbies, and engage in extensive social activities, allowing them to interact with society. Through diverse activities such as academics, internships, extracurriculars, and travel, our child has greatly improved their time management skills and become increasingly independent.

We respect our child, encouraging her to see the world, meet people, and discover herself. We support her in finding her own life path and shining in her own way.
