Consistent Sales Increases As We Move Into the Last 2 Months of 2020

Independent grocers report same-store sales for the last week of October were up 14.67 percent. The month’s overall sales were up 10.67 percent compared to 2019; we continue to see a consistent increase when compared last year.

In spite of the positive sales, we keep seeing week-over-week less people visiting the stores. The overall consumer count was down 4.47 percent during compared to the October last year.
