Let your ideas shine and leave your mark on the 2024 National Tournament when you submit your original legislation for the docket. Any NSDA member student, no matter your national qualification status, can directly submit their original legislation for the 2024 National Speech & Debate Tournament. Submissions are due by February 5, 2024. If selected you will receive:
- Recognition in Rostrum
- An award after the tournament
- A $100 scholarship

The Student Leadership Council (SLC) is composed of current high school members of the NSDA who provide feedback and recommendations throughout the year to ensure we are meeting students’ needs. Compete in the Springboard Capstone Tournament

Get a full tournament experience from the comfort of your own home or school! This free, online tournament will include four preliminary rounds of speech and debate. Live and asynchronous speech is offered. Registration closes on Wednesday, January 17, at 12:00 p.m. CT. National Speech and Debate Education Day (NSDE Day) is an annual celebration which honors, celebrates, and promotes the activity of scholastic speech and debate on the first Friday in March (March 1, 2024). We are thrilled to have a day dedicated to celebrating you, your team, and all you put into speech and debate.
