In her last meeting as FWSF president, Melissa Maquilan Radic provided an overview of each committee's success in 2022.
Fundraising – We exceeded our goal of $250k by raising a total of $325k across individual donors and corporate sponsors.
Scholarships – We are so proud to have awarded scholarships totaling $235,000 to 17 recipients. It was a record-breaking year for scholarships and we are thrilled to have helped support so many future leaders in finance.
Membership –This dedicated team has refined and streamlined our ability to make consistent outreach to our members, particularly our new members.
MarCom – The marketing and communications team increased our views across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram and implemented our Social Media Ambassadors to help spread the word about our events.
Programs – This team came roaring back with a series of successful in-person events. They organized over 15 events, not including our monthly meditation, coffee connection, bring your own lunch and book club series events.
DEI – This team continuously sought to raise awareness internally to ensure an inclusive environment and a feeling of belonging. Externally, they provided thought leadership through DEI events such as Great Resignation/Great Reset.
Thank you to all the FWSF Board, Committee Members and volunteers who gave of their time and hard work in 2022!
