In 1919,  the Chicago-born Levkowitz family moved to southern Arizona and matriarch Clara founded what is now the Chicago Music Store, currently housed on 6th avenue! After three family generations and a full century of quality service, the Chicago Music Store still proudly supplies Tucson's musicians, educators, and students with high-quality instruments and music supplies to rent or purchase at great low prices, living up to the Levkowitz family name and earning the title of "Best Music Store" by the readers of the Tucson Weekly for over a decade.
