Make the most of NYU Libraries’ resources and services
5 Things to Know About NYU Libraries |
Spring is here, and we couldn’t be happier about welcoming you back! As you ease back into campus life, now is the perfect time to get to know how NYU Libraries can support your academics and fuel your curiosity this semester.

1. We’re your go-to source for course materials and research resources.
We have millions of resources for your courses and research (8.6 million physical books, 4.6 million ebooks, 50,000 journals, and over 1,400 databases, to be exact). If you need something we don’t have, we can borrow it from another institution and have it delivered to the library for you. If you still can’t find required readings for your courses, you can request that we set them aside for your whole class to use.

2. Our chat is powered by real people. |
You can chat with us 24/7 to get reliable information from an NYU librarian, not AI. Our librarians can help you find information and use the library.
3. We can teach you something new and help you find community. |
We hold a variety of expert-led workshops and classes throughout the semester, both virtually and in-person. Come level up your skills, ask questions, and learn something new.
We also provide opportunities for you to unwind and connect with other students. Check out the community-building events we have coming up this semester.

4. We supply tech tools for your academics. |
We provide the hardware, software, and online access you need for your projects and assignments.
5. We’re your home away from home. |
Whether you need a quiet space to study solo or a comfy spot to connect with classmates, we have you covered with rooms and spaces you can drop into or reserve in advance.
