Dear Students:
We want to first take a moment to express our gratitude to everyone in our campus community as our staff has worked diligently in the last week to reopen Bracken Library after a burst water main closed our facility last week.
Effective today, Bracken has reopened, except for the building’s lower level. All visitors to the building must enter in the south entrance. The north entrance of Bracken Library remains closed.
Any visitors wishing to access materials in the Education, Music, and Media collections, including course reserves, should seek assistance at the Bracken Circulation Desk. Digital equipment and media may also be checked out at the main circulation desk.
Math Emporium classes will resume in BL 424.
Of note, Information Technology will continue to host its ID Card Office in RB 165. With questions, email idcards@bsu.edu.
Other Information Technology services such as in-person support at our HelpDesk, our Tech Center, and the Technology Store have resumed in Bracken Library and will operate on regular hours.
As always and as a reminder, students and faculty can access virtual services and electronic collections of the University Libraries at www.bsu.edu/library.
Users can always contact the Technology HelpDesk at www.bsu.edu/helpdesk or by calling 765-285-1517, and the Technology Store is available at 765-285-4104 or via email to techstore@bsu.edu.
Again, thank you for your cooperation and patience.
