September 11 Memorial Plaza Opens to Public

Tuesday, September 11
In observance of the 9/11 attack of the World Trade Center in 2001, the Cal Expo September 11 Memorial Plaza will open to the general public on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Memorial Services are from 8:00 - 8:30 a.m., parking is free through the Main Gate. Ceremonial Services provided by Brotherhood American Combat Veterans partnered with California Mexican American Veterans Memorial, Inc.

Fall RV Show

Thursday - Sunday, September 6 - 9
Now's the time to jump into one last vacation before summer ends. Stroll through all the different types of RV's and find the right one for your adventure. Thursday through Friday hours are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Raging Waters Closing Weekend

Saturday - Sunday, September 8 - 9
Summer's not over yet! There's one more weekend to catch the fun at Raging Waters from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Bring the family and enjoy the last weekend before Raging Waters closes for until next summer. For more information, visit their website at rwsac.com.

KVIE Kids Expo

Saturday - Sunday, September 15 - 16
Bring the kids out for a fun time. There will be tons of interactive activities where kids can jump in and have fun while learning at the same time. Advance general admission tickets are available online as well as and family 4 packs. Tickets can be purchased in two hour waves from 10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. and individual general admission tickets will increase on the day of the event.

Destination Travel Show

Friday - Sunday, September 21 - 23
A fun and informative show for more than the travel enthusiast, but for the whole family. There's food and bounce houses for the kids, and vacation deals, offers and giveaways not available anywhere else. Purchase of admission ticket automatically gets you travel points! Show runs 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday and 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

California Care Force

Friday - Sunday, September 21 - 23
California Care Force returns to Cal Expo, providing free medical, dental and vision service to those in need. In order to receive free service, individuals will need to obtain a wristband to guarantee service on the following day. Those interested in receiving services should read the full instructions to guarantee service here. Those interested in volunteering, get involved here.
