Setting a Good Example

As instructors, we are highly visible and guests look to us as examples. Help us stay open by setting a good example for our guests by ensuring we wear masks within our departments and lessons at all times. As an employee, we also ask for your help in reminding guests to keep socially distant and wear a mask.

Welcome Webinar Make-Up Date

We will be hosting a make-up session on Tuesday, December 15 from 6-7:30 pm. This webinar is for anyone who wasn't able to attend our first webinar. The webinar is paid and required for all returning staff members. If you missed the first webinar and need to attend the make-up session, please RSVP below. Epic Service Training

Epic Service is how we create an Experience of a Lifetime. This season, it is more important than ever to anchor to our Epic Service philosophy. To support you as you create memorable moments and connections, we’re excited to launch Epic Service training courses in The LIFT.

You will receive an email with your required training assignments and will have 30 days to complete your Epic Service training once it has been assigned.

Health Screening Reminders

At-home health screenings are a core component of our approach to keep employees and guests safe, ensure our resorts and other Vail Resorts locations are fully staffed and open this season, and help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 across our communities. As we continue to embed this new process, here’s a quick reminder on employee expectations before coming on-site to any Vail Resorts location:

Employees are required to complete their at-home health screening on EpicEmployee every day they will be on-site for work-related activities or shifts.

Employees should expect, and be prepared, to show their badge each day to their manager.

If an employee does not have a mobile device to show their daily badge, they should agree to a plan with their manager as to how they will ensure the screening is completed and validated on a daily basis.

Making progress on our commitment to zero

We recently released our third-annual EpicPromise Progress Report to share how we're working toward our Commitment to Zero sustainability goal to reach a zero net operating footprint by 2030. Watch this quick video or read the progress report to learn more about some major milestones we’ve accomplished, including reaching our 50% waste diversion goal ahead of schedule, signing on to a new solar farm that will provide renewable energy for 100% of Park City Mountain’s electric usage, and donating more than $20M to communities and employees this year!
