As we witness the heartbreaking devastation caused by the wildfires in Los Angeles, we hold those impacted in our thoughts, especially our many alumni and families in the area. In this time of urgent need and the challenging recovery ahead, Emerson is committed to supporting our LA-based community. The Emerson College Los Angeles Center (ELA) has opened its doors, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, as a refuge during the day for alumni needing essential resources, including meals, showers, WiFi, and supplies. Lauren Dodds ‘23 and Anthony Alloca ‘23 produced Paint The Town Purple, a successful Emerson alumni cabaret in NYC celebrating Emerson talent. Featuring alumni from Broadway (Hadestown, Hamilton, Mamma Mia!) and national tours (Six, Legally Blonde), the show highlighted Emerson's artistic impact.
