REMINDER! Road Closure: West Lakeshore (Sorority Row) from Lod Cook to South Campus Drive will be blocked Wednesday - Saturday. Afternoon carpool Wednesday, as well as morning and afternoon carpool Thursday and Friday will be affected. Below are the dates and times that the road will be closed.
Wednesday, August 21, 2024 - 1:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 22, 2024 - 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
Friday, August 23, 2024 - 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
Please allow extra time to commute and expect traffic in and around the area to be heavier than normal.

Yearbook Photo Retake Request Form. If your student did not take a photo on prep days (middle/high) or the first days of school (elementary) they will take a make-up picture; therefore, it is not necessary to submit this form.
If your student took a photo on prep days or the first day of school, but would like a retake, please complete and submit this form. If the form is not submitted, your student will not be called for a retake.

Cub Stop reminders for morning drop off:

Do not enter faculty lot until a teacher waves you in (at 7:19). Cars should be lined up in a double line in the student lot.
- As you are waiting in line, please prepare your child to exit quickly by having their seatbelt unbuckled, shoes on, and their booksack fully packed ready to grab.
- For safety reasons, all children should exit the car on the passenger side.

As soon as your car stops, child should open the door and exit the car moving directly to the closest sidewalk.
- Wherever your car stops in the U is where your child gets out. We empty 24 cars at a time.
- Cell phone use is prohibited!

Grandparents Day may be rescheduled. Please do not make any special arrangements to attend this event until the date is finalized.

Dual Enrollment Information: Requirements: 2.5 high school GPA and the student must demonstrate subject-specific readiness in mathematics (for math and science courses) or subject-specific readiness in English (for English, foreign languages, history, social science, humanities, and arts survey courses) through either the scores listed below or a counselor recommendation based on overall student performance and grade trends in the subject.

What? The theme of the first high school dance of the year is Western.
Who can attend? U-High 9-12th graders. Guests from other schools are allowed pending completion of the U-High Dance Guest Form submission and approval. Guest forms are due Wednesday, August 21st, by 3:00 pm
When? August 24th from 8 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Attendees must arrive by 8:30 to be admitted.
Where? U-High’s Cub (Old) Gym, enter using the courtyard through the gate near the auditorium.
How to purchase tickets? Tickets can be purchased through i2 tickets (formerly Slocal) Tickets purchased by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23 are $10 each. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $15 each

Any 7th and 8th graders interested in Tennis should sign up with Coach Shoptaugh outside his office this week.
