Vaccination Updates (as of September 3, 2021)
Student vaccination rate: 88.3%
Faculty vaccination rate: 97.3%
Staff vaccination rate: 83.3%
Cumulative vaccination rate: 88.1%
We are inching closer to our 90% cumulative vaccination rate. As a reminder, once we reach our goal, you will receive a special prize from the Captain—and yes, the prize is above and beyond our weekly Sweet Surprise (see below)!
There’s still time to sign up for tomorrow’s vaccine clinic. Please contact Connie Hicks, hicksc@southwestern.edu, to schedule your appointment. There will be no out-of-pocket cost for the shot and you will receive a coupon for a free box of donuts. More information can be found here.
Remember that student testing happens every Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Robertson Center. If you do not wish to test on campus, you can arrange for an off-campus test on your own and provide the result to covidtesting@southwestern.edu by 2:00 p.m. on Friday each week. Please remember that only PCR tests are accepted. Visit the Health Center to find off-campus testing locations.

Construction Update
Our Facilities Management team was hard at work last week. The athletic track has been replaced, and multiple sidewalk and lighting improvements are underway for our pedestrian walkways.
