Join us for a special weekend to honor our Founding Club Members, raise funds for Spruce Peak Arts, and have a ton of fun!  From the epic Founder’s Wine Dinner and a day spent skiing and racing with some of the best in the sport, to an over-the-top après party and celebrating the day rocking out to one of the best funk/fusion bands out there, this is a weekend that will bring lasting memories for your family and friends.  Check out last year’s Founders Cup video  as a reminder of this incredible event!  

This special event features an amazing dinner created by the Club’s Executive Chef Seth Gallant.  This year’s event will feature wines from Orin Swift, St. Helena California. 

This event opens first to Founders and Wine Club Members, who will soon receive a personalized invitation.  If there is availability thereafter, we will open seating to the general membership.    

This event provides an exclusive opportunity to enjoy a private ski experience with some of the best in the sport.  Spend the morning on the slopes with famed athletes and top instructors from the Stowe Ski School granting you front of line access on the lift.  This experience is unlike another other – time on the mountain with top athletes, testing your skills through the gates, and receiving invaluable tips on improving your technique to bring your skiing to the next level.

Currently, one can purchase an entire team entry (7 racers) with an Olympian or Alpine Captain. This is your opportunity to secure a team and round up your Member friends, guests, and fellow racers to ensure a full day of camaraderie and fun! Individual race entries will open soon (unless all teams are sold!)  We are still finalizing the full roster and will notify you when new Captains have been added.  You can also buy a ‘Name Your Own Captain’ team.  Your captain can be anyone of your choosing:  your child’s coach, a favorite ski instructor, or someone you think would be a fun leader for your team! 

John Tewhill has been a part of every Founders Cup since the start in 2007!

As a past member of the U.S. Army Ski team and past Ski Bum Champion, John is no slouch on the racecourse. What better way to thank him for his years of dedication to The Club than bidding to be on his team for this year's race!

Recognized for his high-speed improvisational skills, fun-loving performance spirit, and a flexible right wrist, guitarist Cory Wong had a multifaceted music career in his base of Minneapolis, Minnesota, before becoming better known for regular guest spots as rhythm guitarist for Ann Arbor R&B/funk outfit Vulfpeck in the mid-2010s. Often incorporating intricate, percussive picking into his rhythm playing, his style merges acoustic and electric techniques gleaned from years invested in both.

Trousdale is a powerful female band consisting of Quinn D’Andrea, Georgia Greene and Lauren
Jones. Their melodic and heartfelt harmonies are often compared to The Chicks and The
Staves, but the girls draw inspiration from a wide array of music, including Crosby Stills and
Nash, Kacey Musgraves and HAIM. Driven by their passion to empower young women,
Trousdale is committed to making quality music that spreads a message of self-acceptance and
love.

On Sunday, race participants are welcome to join us for an a la carte breakfast in the Alpine Clubhouse.  This is a great time to recap the weekend with friends, enjoy a bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar, and place final bids on some amazing auction items.
