Dating back to the 1984-1985 academic year, the Phonathon is a student-run philanthropic program made up of current SUNY Polytechnic Institute students that reach out to over 23,000 members of the Alumni Association throughout the country. Since 2009, the Phonathon has generated more than $200,000 in scholarships for our students.
"Alumni support of our student scholarship fund is more critical than ever," said Nick Grimmer '05, Executive Director of the Foundation. "With our increasing enrollment and growing academic profile, the Foundation relies on the generosity of our graduates to offer academic merit scholarships to assist with the recruitment of talented students to attend SUNY Polytechnic Institute."
