The study, conducted by NYU Shanghai Assistant Professor of Management and Organizations Tian Yuan with collaborators from Northwestern University, University of Notre Dame, and Michigan State University was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
“The findings suggest that gender-diverse teams may have substantial untapped potential for medical research,” said Tian, who was the second author on the study. “In this sense, we hope our research can provide a different perspective on potential gender and teamwork synergies and inform opportunities in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion space.” Read the full story here.
