Dear Supporter:
Wait! That's not a cat . . .
She is not a cat, but the day Sadie was brought to Almost Home Adoptions, we could see this poor girl needed our help! She was surrendered to Almost Home after she was found roaming the streets. She had several infected bite wounds on her body. She has many old scars as well. The vet thinks it is possible she was a bait dog for dog fighting. She was not spayed and it appeared to look like she had several litters of puppies. Her teeth were worn down to nothing and she desperately needed a dental for her teeth that were broken and infected. She also had several suspicious masses on her legs and chest.
We started her on antibiotics right away for the infections that Sadie had. The next day Sadie had her first vet visit (of many) to get her healthy and ready for adoption.
Miss Sadie is now ready for her forever loving home! She has recovered from her injuries and infections, she had a dental, and is now spayed. The masses have been removed and it was discovered that they were all mast cell tumors BUT low grade (so very unlikely to spread) and were removed with complete margins.
Might you be Sadie's special forever human? Might you know someone who could be her special human? Please read on for more detail and pics. Sadie has been through so much, and she deserves a wonderful forever loving home.
