If you haven't seen them already, Friday is the day these cool animals take over the Fair! Drop by the Tractor Supply Co. Big Barn all day for a chance to see and even interact with the llamas and alpacas! The Llama & Alpaca Halter Class kicks the day off at 10 a.m., and Pooh Corners (Walk-A-Llama/Alpaca) rounds out the day at 7 p.m. Check the schedule for more shows and activities featuring the lanky llamas and alpacas!

Live Thoroughbred Horse Racing

Friday - Sunday, July 27 - 29 starting at 2:15 p.m.

Miller Lite Racetrack Grandstand

The last weekend of live horse racing is here. See one of the oldest sports in the country right here at the California State Fair. First post time begins at 2:15 p.m. Stop by early and learn how to place your bets, or Spin-To-Win at the wheel of cool prizes!

Fireworks Presented by Dish

Friday - Saturday at 10 p.m.

Stay 'til the end of the Fair and look up to see the fireworks show in the night sky! You can watch them from almost anywhere on the Fairgrounds, the show starts at 10 p.m. What a way to end the day!

Little dogs with big dreams are coming to the California State Fair this Saturday! Witness the Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals at the Miller Lite Racetrack Grandstand at 2:00 p.m. and root for your favorite Dachshund!

Out at the Fair

Celebrate LGBTQ Pride at the Fair this Sunday! At 1:00 p.m. catch "Out at the Races" at the Miller Lite Racetrack Grandstand, at 6:00 p.m. jump into the group photo at the Main Gate, and then at 6:30 p.m. witness the Diva Drop at the Bungee Jump in the Carnival!

California State Fair Cornhole Championship

Bring your own bags and get ready for the Cornhole Championship! Register as a junior (Ages 8 - 14) or as an adult in the Single or Doubles league. Click here to register for the Championship!

Golden 1 Main Stage

The Greg Kihn Band takes the stage Friday night and will be serving up some good ol' American Rock! Belt out the lyrics to hits like "The Breakup Song" and "Jeopardy" and enjoy the night! This concert is free with your Fair admission, or you can buy tickets for reserved seating.
