The GAPSA General Assembly

Grad Chats with the GAPSA President:
Dec 7, 3-4pm

As a student advocate and representative, it is crucial for me to be in conversation with my fellow students across our GMU campuses—Fairfax, Science and Technology (Sci Tech), and Arlington—to better understand the goals, needs and concerns of graduate and professional students whose individual life and career demands may vary greatly.  Every first and third Monday of the month from 3 to 4 pm, I will be hosting an open space for students to share your voice and shape your Mason experience. I look forward to getting to know and serve you better!

Upcoming Events

The Art of Mindfulness: Nov 30, 7:00 - 8:30 PM

Art is a natural way to practice mindfulness and a great way to meet fellow Patriots. This session will be led by a master artist. Kerry with UL SciTech will show you how to sketch and paint your master piece for the night! So bring your inner artist and get creative. We’ll start with a drawing warm-up and then learn color mixing and painting basics. No experience required!

Grad Night In:
Dec 3, 4:00 - 8:00 PM

Join Graduate Student Life and fellow graduate and professional students for our virtual Grad Night In series! Think of this as a virtual social study hall where you can  work on your assignments among a community of grad students contributing to an atmosphere of mutual support. We will hold our virtual Grad Night In via Slack (for an asynchronous) experience; and for those looking to get some virtual Facetime in, we will also be holding the program via Zoom so chats, discussions, and/or community can be had. Graduate Student Life staff will be available online for the duration of the event to answer questions and provide support. Register here by noon on Wednesday, December 2, 2020; registered students will receive further instructions on how to access the Slack workspace.
