CSLG's Statement on Russia-Ukraine Conflict and Genocide"We stand together with all those who support the people of Ukraine, and hope for a speedy resolution to the conflict by peaceful means that respect Ukraine’s territorial integrity and political independence as protected in the UN Charter," said the Center for the Study of Law & Genocide in a March 1 statement. However, President Putin’s repeated claim—without any evidentiary support—that Ukraine has engaged in a genocide of ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine is nothing more than a pretextual justification for unlawful military intervention. This casual and flagrant disdain for the suffering, past and present, of the true victims of genocide is grossly exploitative and undermines credible claims." More>>
