Beautification Project at the Raney House
Each quarter, our Design Committee selects a downtown location that could benefit from a little extra attention. Recently Main Street volunteers came together to spruce up the outside of The Raney House Museum. In addition to removing yard waste, volunteers cleared and removed debris along the sidewalk and curb areas and pressure washed the concrete wall and parking area.
The Raney House is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
Our spring event included a beautification project on Avenue D and litter pickup at the Scipio Creek Boat Basin and Franklin Square. Please stay tuned for our next beautification event. We provide all necessary tools as well as masks and gloves, and we ensure that safe distancing guidelines are followed. Do you have project ideas or want to join in? Let us know!
