Introducing our newest Prevention Educators, Rita and Diana
Rita Mora graduated from CSU, Monterey Bay with a B.A. in Spanish Literature and Culture, after which she decided to focus on serving her community in Salinas as an ESL instructor and working with non-profits like the Central Coast Citizenship Project. She also attended graduate school at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and plans to eventually finish her M.A. in Translation and Interpretation. She began her journey with MCRCC so that she could continue to serve and advocate for her community by teaching children about safety and empowerment.
Diana Beltran is currently attending San Jose State University and will graduate with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in the Fall of 2019. She also plans to continue school to receive her Master’s and become a Licensed professional clinical counselor. Diana is passionate about empowering individuals and encourages them to find and use their voice.

Automobilia - our biggest year yet!
Many thanks to all of our staff, Advocates, and Board members for helping to run our fundraiser at Automobilia this year during Monterey Car Week. Between entry fees, silent auction sales and donations, MCRCC raised over $14,500. That's an increase of over $2,000 from last year, making it our biggest year yet! We especially want to thank Automobilia's founder and organizer, Tony Singer, for partnering with us for this event for the past 17 years.
Save the date! Together with Love 5/10K
Our 35th Annual Together with Love Run/Walk will be held at Lovers Point on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020! Registration is now open - click here!
