Diversity Day brings individuals of different backgrounds together for a day of celebration and unity as we share many dimensions of our cultural identity, heritage and lifestyles through dance, music, creative arts and cultural expression. Join us during the last Campus Lifetime of the academic year to celebrate this 20+ year tradition by performing or hosting an information/activity table at the Diversity Day Showcase.

Distinguished Doctoral Colloquium

Join the Graduate School to celebrate recipients of the President's Award to Distinguished Doctoral Students. Winners will present a synopsis of their research in layperson style to a diverse audience.  

3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Winner Advances to Final Round 
Catherine Feldman, the 2024 SBU winner for 3MT, has advanced to the final round of the NAGS 3MT competition. Catherine will give her talk, "FLASH Photography: Exploding Stars on Computers," on Zoom this Friday, April 26, 3-5 pm. Students, faculty and staff are invited, and will be among the audience choosing the People's Choice winner.

Stony Brook Opera presents Mozart’s opera buffa classic, The Marriage of Figaro. One of the cornerstones of the opera repertoire, this fully staged production featuring Mozart’s rousing score and Lorenzo Da Ponte’s witty libretto is sure to be a crowd-pleasing performance!
