Christine Kline
The campus community is mourning the passing of Christine Kline, professor emerita and former dean of the School of Education, who died on Jan. 22 after a year's illness. Chris joined the University of Puget Sound faculty in 1994. "As dean of the School of Education, Chris served in collaborative and constructive ways during both challenging and strengthening years, and was valued deeply by her M.A.T. and M.Ed. counseling and administration colleagues alike for her leadership, colleagueship, and friendship," wrote Provost Kristine Bartanen. Donations can be made in Chris' honor to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, or in memory of Chris Kline at the Seattle Art Museum to support its educational programs.
