New ‘Top Docs’ features MAG MRC medical student members
The latest edition of the Medical Association of Georgia’s (MAG) ‘Top Docs’ show features two medical student members of the MAG Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) who were deployed during the COVID-19 pandemic – including Blaire Burton, a fourth-year student at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, and Mason Bennett, a third-year student at the Trinity School of Medicine.

Burton is applying for orthopedic surgery residency programs. The Macon native has a degree from the University of Georgia, and she been a member of the MAG MRC for two years.
Bennett lives in Warner Robins with his wife and two sons, and he has a degree from Brigham Young University.
The MAG MRC responds to declared emergencies in the state, including natural disasters and disease outbreaks. It receives funding from the Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission.

MAG has won three awards for the show, including an American Association of Medical Society Executives Profiles of Excellence Award, an American Society of Association Executives Silver Award, and a Health Information Resource Center Digital Health Award.
