» Beckham Leaves WME:  WME Nashville Co-Head Rob Beckham has left the company, confirms WME. The industry veteran was with the organization for 27 years and represented artists including Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Chris Young, Jake Owen and Chase Bryant. He's involved in various industry organizations including the CMA, where he currently sits on the board as President Elect, and philanthropic endeavors including the T.J. Martell Foundation and Cheekwood Estate & Gardens in Nashville. Remaining WME Co-Heads are Joey Lee, Jay Williams, Greg Oswald and Scott Clayton. |
» Cross Over:  Radio vet Michael Cross has joined Cherry Creek/Wenatchee, WA as OM. He succeeds Jerry Ramsay, who also served as PD/morning host for Country KYSN, and has left the company. As for those positions, "We're not prepared to announce any more than we already have at this time," Group PD Mark Elliott says. Cross' past stops include more than 20 years with NRG/Waterloo-Cedar Rapids, IA, where he most recently served as OM. He left that post late last year. |
» McKenna Leaves Cape Cod:  Cape Cod Broadcasting/Cape Cod, MA cluster PD Jerry McKenna has exited with the elimination of his position, which encompassed Country WKPE. He joined from Cumulus/Springfield, MA & Worcester, MA in 2013 (CAT 11/1/13). OM Wayne White will assume programming responsibilities for the cluster moving forward. |
» Douglas Exits WGTY:  Forever WGTY/York, PA MD/middayer Dan Douglas has exited and morning co-host Kim Alexander has added midday duties. PD Scott Donato will assume Douglas' MD responsibilities. Douglas moved to middays for a second time from nights in 2015 (CAT 8/28/15). |

The roster includes Exile, Gunnar and The Grizzly Boys, Alexis Gomez, The Okies and Ricochet. "He's one of the most respected and well-liked agents in the business," says Exile's Marlon Hargis.
