35-36 Week Infant Learning Session
Over 50 people, representing 11 different facilities, attended the Learning Session on Monday, September 17th centered around Optimizing Care for the 35-36 Week Infant. This project, led by Drs. Anna Morad, Victoria DeVito, and Patti Scott, has been in place for the past 6 months with the primary AIM of decreasing hospital readmissions in this vulnerable population.
Since breastfeeding can be a challenge for these babies, the learning session started with an excellent discussion from Diane Businda and Kelli Berg, sharing many evidenced-based tips related to this common difficulty. Theresa Scott, reviewed the use and importance of run charts, and a glimpse at the state data.
Everyone left the learning session encouraged and enthusiastic. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend!
