Dear Coach,
We are honored to host a series of coaches’ caucuses Sunday, June 17, at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center to address issues of inclusion in the speech and debate community. We hope interested coaches will join in this important discussion and dialogue! The 2018 Coaches' Caucuses are brought to you by Colorado College
We are also striving to better track and promote the full range of diverse voices and viewpoints possible in judging, especially in elimination rounds. Please read on below for how you can help!

JUDGING DIVERSITY NOMINATIONS
We hope you'll consider helping us increase the diversity of our semifinal and final round judge pools! We will accept self-nominations and nominations from advisors on behalf of their school's judges.
For self-nominations:
If your Tabroom account is linked to your judge record already, log in and select National Speech & Debate Tournament from the Judging section on the right to fill out the questionnaire. If your account is not linked, you can ask your chapter advisor to link your account to your judge record or fill out the questionnaire for you!
Before self-nominating, please be sure you will be at the tournament on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday! If you are pooled into a semifinal or final round because you self-identified, failure to show up for the round will count as judge bond forfeiture for your school.
For school advisor nominations:
Any advisor can also nominate their judges for semifinal and final round judge pools. In the past, this was only done by district chairs, but this year any and all who wish to be considered for a semifinal or final round may do so. Please consider asking your program's advisor to nominate you to enhance the diversity of the judging pool.
To make the nomination, advisors log in to Tabroom and visit the National Tournament entry. Select the Judges tab and click the edit button next to the name of the person you're nominating.
