Happy Tuesday. I write with a few updates as we wind down this term.

  • WGVU Public Media is about to launch weekly releases of four new Talking Together episodes, beginning on April 12 and running weekly on WGVU’s main television channel through May 3. All episodes will also be posted online. We hope that you can tune in on April 12th at 6:00pm! Check out previously aired Talking Together WGVU programs here: gvsu.edu/talkingtogether/wgvu-specials-11.htm.

  • National Week of Conversation: April 17th - 23rd - This is a week where bridge-builders from across the nation come together to elevate the healing and transformative powers of conversation. A week of free virtual workshops, films, and conversations are offered. Check it out!

  • Reach Higher 2025 Showcase: The Center for Civil Discourse will be there representing its partnership for the Talking Together: Strengthening our Communities Through Conversation initiative. Please stop by on April 21st at 11:30am-2:30pm in the DeVos Plaza (Downtown Pew Campus).
