Dear Valued Member,
Thank you for being part of our worldwide family of members and for contributing to the welfare of the industry in which we all share. We live in unprecedented times which call for an even greater togetherness, as we endeavour to deal with the challenges we face, keep our industry secure and future-proof our amazing technology so we stay relevant to the customers of today and tomorrow.

Please know that ATMIA, after more than two decades of industry service, is here for you as never before. We can say we held everything together in 2020 and we will rise to every challenge in 2021. The world’s first system for Next Gen ATMs is now live, so the future-proofing exercise ATMIA supervised for four years has given our industry every single deliverable promised from this marvellous exercise in collaboration and reinvention.

We can be bold in 2021, while protecting and advancing our industry’s technology and systems, if we continue to “feed the ecosystem that feeds us”. All the very best for 2021, we’ll be with you all the way.

Warmest regards,

Mike Lee

Unique Attributes of Cash

Did you know that cash always works, unlike electronic and digital forms of payments which are sometimes offline? For cash users, cash is Plan A, while for all others cash becomes Plan B for when systems crash or are attacked by cyber fraudsters. Whether you’re a Plan A or a Plan B cash user, cash always works. And the settlement is done and dusted on the spot. During a crisis, cash works too, including in emergency situations when natural disasters, which are increasing in frequency, have destroyed or damaged infrastructure. Cash always works – for all demographic and income groups, too. No wonder ATMIA believes cash is so good!
