Seton Hall alumna Vanessa Smith '19 has been honored with the prestigious 2024 Milken Educator Award, earning a $25,000 prize for her outstanding contributions to education. A first-grade teacher at Croft Community School in Charlotte, NC, Smith is celebrated for her innovative teaching methods, including using songs and chants to build literacy and math skills, as well as her commitment to mentoring fellow educators and advocating for equity in education.

Our annual Rock-the-Socks giving campaign was a huge success! With over 1,000 individual donors and $105,000 raised, our community showed its continued support of the University. We hope you're enjoying your beanies and scarves during this winter weather, and we thank you for your support!

Hosted by our very own Student Alumni Association (SAA), students flocked to the Field House to bounce a basketball for six consecutive hours before the Pirates took on Butler!
During the day, students enjoyed fun activities such as inflatable games, yard games, arts and crafts, a Polaroid photo station, complimentary (sponsored) food from Sonny’s Bagels and Tito's, and more!
