| Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break. While our students are at home, on internships, and abroad, we have been planning and preparing for a busy spring semester.
This time of year on campus is filled with new beginnings and exploration. Spring semester is a time to try something new or set new goals. For some students, it's about improving academically or getting more involved on campus. Many of our Gulls are already off on adventures while studying abroad or returning from abroad and refocusing on classes and internships.
Many of our spring programs and offerings continue the support established in the fall semester. The Division of Student Affairs has been working hard to plan and offer an incredibly wide variety of programs that appeal to all of our students.
Wishing you a happy and healthy 2024. Go Gulls!

Students work with coaches to address ten core coaching competencies, including developing academic confidence, resilience, and grit; understanding professors' expectations; learning to set and adjust goals; and establishing stronger time management skills and strategies. For more information about the Center, please contact Amy Cohn, Director, at acohn@endicott.edu or check out our web page.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging |
The Center for Belonging looks forward to welcoming our students back on January 22. On Friday, January 26 at noon in the Rose Theatre, we will offer a concert by the Klezmer Group, Ezekiel's Wheel, to honor International Holocaust Remembrance Day, followed by a reception where people can gather and share. We will also launch this year's Celebrate Your Lineage project, inviting students, faculty, and staff of all cultures to bring in an artifact from their lineage and tell their ancestry story which will be captured in a beautiful photo display created by our photography professors and students.
Also, invite your students to stay tuned as we will soon be announcing the date of our Black History Month Cultural Fair. Happy New Year from the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging Department staff, Brandi Johnson and Gail Cantor.

Endicott Shuttle Updates for 2024: Endicott provides a range of transportation services to the campus community, including shuttle services on-campus and off-campus to help students get around campus and the community. Our campus shuttle is free to students, faculty, and staff during the academic year. Service and schedule information can be found on our website.
Over the fall semester, the Office of Student Engagement has been working hard to prepare several updates to make our campus shuttle service more efficient and easier to use.
-We have fully implemented our new PassioGO!, a system allowing students to track each shuttle so they know when they will be at the next stop. This system is available for each shuttle route. The PassioGO! App can be downloaded here.
-On-campus Shuttle stop signage will be updated to be larger, and easier to find so students know where to wait for the shuttle.
-We have been working with our off campus partners to create official shuttle stops at various locations off-campus. These include:
The Beverly Depot MBTA Commuter Rail Station
Cummings Center
Shaw’s Market at the North Beverly Plaza
Should you have any questions, please feel free to call Steve Rossi, Director of Student Engagement at 978-232-2122 or email Transportation@endicott.edu.

2023 was a great year for sustainability at Endicott. We achieved a STARS Silver rating in recognition of our sustainability achievements from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), one of our students, Sophia Gosselin-Smoske, was a finalist for AASHE's Student Sustainability Leadership Award, and "The Bright Side of Solar Energy" student project won in the first Living and Learning Community (LLC) Campus Improvement Proposal Competition. These are just a few of the achievements in sustainability Endicott saw in 2023. We can't wait to grow even more in 2024!
Next up is Campus Race to Zero Waste (CR2ZW) 2024! In February and March, Endicott will participate in CR2ZW, a friendly competition and benchmarking tool for colleges and universities across the country to promote waste reduction. Throughout the competition, the Office of Sustainability will host several events for students, faculty, and staff in order to get everyone in the spirit of reducing, reusing, and recycling. As part of CR2ZW, we are asking for donations of used clothing, office supplies, decorative goods, and anything else you and your friends/siblings/children no longer need for our Campus Thrift Store. Winter break is the perfect time to go through your (or your child's) closet and get a jump start on spring cleaning. When students return from break, donation boxes will be placed throughout the following residential halls for collections: Endicott, Brindle, Frates, Standish, Stoneridge, Marblehead, Bayview, and Kennedy. Stay tuned for more information about CR2ZW24 and be sure to participate for a chance to win prizes, meet new people, and learn about Sustainability!
