April 2023

Dear Parents and Families,

The school year is coming to a close and your students are turning their attention towards finals. As they close out the semester, we wish them well with their exams, papers, and projects.
We would like to take a moment to offer our thanks and appreciation to you. Your ongoing support is a critical component of student success. Thank you for all the ways you coach, support, and guide your students from home.
We’d like to offer a huge thank you to the parents and families of the Class of 2023! Your students' journey has been unlike any we have ever seen, and we thank you for your partnership in keeping students safe and engaged throughout this unusual season of life. We hope the resilience your students have developed and demonstrated will stay with them for the rest of their lives no matter the challenges they face. We know you are proud of your soon-to-be graduate- we are too- and we can't wait to see all that they accomplish in the future.
Thanks to everyone for making the 2022-2023 academic year a success!
GO DUKE!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Be Vigilant of Scammers

It has been brought to our attention that Duke parents have received calls from individuals fraudulently identifying themselves as Duke Police officers and soliciting money from parents. The caller states that the student has been arrested and then instructs the parents to pay bail through CashApp, Venmo, or Zelle. The caller has been using a phone number and/or caller ID that makes the number they are calling from appear to be Duke Police.
Please be advised that Duke Police will never call and ask for bail money. Anyone with additional information should contact Duke Police's non-emergency line: 919-684-2444.
